Book Review- The girl on the train and The couple next door

I have finally got my self to read books. I have picked up a book after 9 years of skim reading throughout life, school, college and university (only first and second year). I bought a range of books before summer so I can read them. The book are from Amazon.

This is the hardest review I have had to write without giving any spoilers, therefore if it does not make sense it's because I do not want to ruin it for anyone who has not read it.

These are the books I bought.
If you have any recommendations let me know in the comments below. I'm always looking for new books to read. I'm into the mystery, crime and thriller genre, however, I am open to reading any genres.

Back to the review.

The Girl on the train.

When I first read the title I thought oh it's about the girl on a train what could be interesting about that. Once I read the back I thought this sounds more interesting I wonder what it's about. When reading the back I never thought that it would be about crime.

I would say it does drag on a bit but it's building up to the ending. This book kept me up at night and there were a lot of twists and turns. I would highly recommend this book to everyone. I actually never saw the ending coming which is shocking for me because usually I am good at sussing it out but this book I couldn't.

The Couple Next Door

I saw this book on a bloggers post and she said it was amazing. I cannot remember who's post I saw it on. This book is fantastic. I loved this book so much! I actually read this book quicker than the girl on the train. I read the back and I thought that this is going to be good.

This book is about a 6 month old child who gets kidnapped while her parents are next door at a dinner party. This book is hard to put down once you start reading it. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. All you think about in this book is if the baby is okay and who would take a baby for no reason but once you get to the end you think wow how did I not see that coming? That is all I asked myself.

Overall, I enjoyed reading both of these books. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Also, these books are purchased from Amazon. Amazon were doing 3 for £10 and the deal is still going on.
I am currently reading Behind closed doors. That will be in my next review.
